JB Badanguio

Jonathan "Jaybee" Badanguio was born on April 19, 1985 in San Jose, CA. His appreciation for the arts, especially music, began at the age of seven when he began playing the piano. He then gained an interest in dancing through the inspirations of Michael Jackson, Janet Jackson, Britney Spears, and N’sync. His first real dance experience began in his first year of college at the University of California, Irvine in 2003 where he took hip-hop dance classes. In 2004, Jaybee joined Kaba Modern where he grew to be a choreographer and later, co-coordinator for Kaba Modern 2006 and Artistic Director for Kreative Movement 2006, formally Kaba Kids. Jaybee has competed in many competitions including Hip-Hop International, travelled to perform in Canada and New York, and has taught various dance classes and teams. Jaybee is honored to be currently sharing the stage with KM Legacy, Typecast Toys, and to be co-directing Floorteenth. With a B.S. in Environmental Analysis and Design, Jaybee aspires to utilize his skills to pursue a career in architecture.
