Allison Vicencio
Allison "Allibon" Vicencio is a former gymnast and cheerleader from Chino Hills. She discovered her love for hip-hop dancing in high school, where she directed her class rally competitions. She was later accepted into UC Irvine--her first choice college due in large part to Kaba Modern. Allison successfully joined the team in 2005 and continued to dance for the team for 3 more years. Furthermore, Allison took on a leadership role in her 4th year and served as Coordinator in 2008. She has also represented Kaba Modern in Hip Hop Internationals for three consecutive years--2006, 2007, and 2008, and was one of the original dancers to appear on MTV's America's Best Dance Crew.
Today, while finishing up her degree at UC Irvine, she continues to be an integral member of the local dance community participating in projects by Jun Quemado, Jed Florano, Toy Box's "Inside the Box", Gigi Torres' Choreography Reel, and Floorteenth, as well as being a member on the Kaba Modern Legacy 2009 team. Allison's credits also include being featured in the movie "Fat Albert", teaching workshops locally and in California's Bay Area as well as performing around the world including Canada and South Africa. "Allibon" is a vibrant force as a performer and a person, which has shown through her growth as a dancer and dedication to the KM family, and most importantly through her un-dying support of all aspiring dancers throughout the world.
